Scope

This notice covers two distinct things: the personal information the directory publishesabout the people it profiles, and the information it collects from people who visit the site. They are governed differently and are described separately below.

Information published about profiled individuals

The directory publishes professional information drawn from public sources: roles held, organisations associated with, publicly reported investment activity, board positions, and links to first-party material. Every claim is recorded against a citation, and themethodology sets out how sources are weighed.

The following are never published, regardless of availability:

• Home addresses or private residential information.
• Personal telephone numbers and personal email addresses.
• Information about family members who are not themselves public figures.
• Identity documents, tax records or other personal documentation.
• Estimates of personal wealth or net worth.
• Special-category data, including health, religious or political information.

Basis for publication

Publication rests on the legitimate interest of documenting the professional public record of individuals who deploy or direct capital, balanced against their interest in privacy. That balance is what produces the exclusions above: information without professional relevance is not published even when it is available.

Exercising your rights

If you are the subject of a profile, you may request that inaccurate information be corrected, that out-of-scope information be removed, and that your position be recorded alongside a claim you dispute. Write to editorial@globalleadersinvestors.com, identifying the specific claim in question.

Depending on where you are resident, you may also have rights of access, restriction, objection and erasure under applicable data protection law. Requests raising a specific legal basis are reviewed individually and the outcome is communicated to you.

A profile that documents publicly available, correctly sourced professional information is not removed simply on preference. The editorial policy sets out how such requests are handled.

Information collected from visitors

This site is a statically generated set of pages. It sets no advertising cookies, runs no third-party analytics or tracking scripts, and does not build visitor profiles. Filter and search state is held in the page URL and in the browser; it is not transmitted anywhere.

Standard server request logs may be retained by the hosting provider for security and operational purposes. Where you contact the editorial desk by email, that correspondence is retained for as long as needed to handle the request.

External links

Profiles link to material published by third parties. Those sites operate under their own privacy policies, which this notice does not cover.
